Now Dashing to The Buckeye State With DoorDash Delivery in Columbus

By Brent Seals, Head of Launch

It’s officially spring: the sun is out, baseball is back, and summer vacation is just around the corner.

Here at DoorDash, we’re kicking off the season by announcing our 24th delivery market. Starting today, we’re launching in Columbus, Ohio, allowing hungry Buckeyes to order from old favorites or new discoveries using DoorDash. More than 200 Columbus restaurants are already on DoorDash, including beloved local fixtures like Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace, Bareburger, The Happy Greek, and The Thurman Cafe, and we plan to continue growing this list in the months to come.

Over the past two years, we’ve seen the ways that on-demand delivery can bring communities closer together, while offering local restaurants a simple and data-driven way to get their food right to customers’ doorsteps in under an hour. And with today’s launch we’re excited to bring that combination of technology, customer service, and community to Columbus.

We’re now delivering across the Columbus area including Downtown Columbus, Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Dublin, Powell, New Albany, Lewis Center, Gahanna, and Westerville, with more neighborhoods still to come. Columbus has become known for it’s strong restaurant scene as well as being a test market for national restaurant chains, so we think locals will love our great selection, easy-to-use platform and speedy delivery.

At launch, orders will be available for the delivery fee of just $1.00, with no order minimums. As usual, you can order via the DoorDash Android or iOS app or online at DoorDash.com. So check out DoorDash today and help welcome our new team in C-bus.
