Denver football star LenDale White is known for his speed and agility as he dashed his way to the end zone week after week. Today, White dashed through a new course, the city of Denver – and for a cause!
We’re thrilled to share that White has partnered with DoorDash to host a pizza party and raise money for the local youth organization, The Bridge Project. This afternoon, White dashed for charity around Denver to deliver lunch and an afternoon of laughter to the much deserving youth of The Bridge Project.
Faces lit up when White walked through the door with boxes of pizzas from local favorite, Beau Jo’s Colorado Style Pizza. The mouthwatering, cheesy goodness was mixed with great company, as Colorado’s former star running back joked and laughed around the lunch table. And no lunch party would be complete without dessert; following pizza they enjoyed delicious chocolate chip cookies from Masterpiece Deli.
The delightful afternoon was topped off when White also presented the The Bridge Project with a donation of money raised through DoorDash deliveries over the weekend. DoorDash donated $1 from every order made over the previous weekend to the cause. Several local restaurants also got involved and matched DoorDash’s contribution including Masterpiece Deli, Masterpiece Kitchen, Beau Jo’s Colorado Style Pizza, On the Border, LYFE Kitchen, and Grillin’ Wings & Things.
We couldn’t be more excited to bring together one of Denver’s star athletes with some of Denver’s favorite restaurants and a deserving local organization. A big thank you to everyone who helped us out by ordering, donating and delivering in Denver today.
