Seattle area folks know their food. Whether it be fish at Pike Place Market, the incredible selection of coffee, or any of the amazing food trucks across the area, everyone knows that Seattle is the place to be to fill your foodie fix.
Well now, Seattle’s best food is even more convenient. That’s right: DoorDash is now available in the Seattle area, bringing some of the area’s best restaurants (and more!) directly to your door, typically in under 45 minutes.
To start, DoorDash will be available on the Eastside including Kirkland, Redmond and Bellevue– some of the larger neighborhoods that have typically been underserved by delivery services. Over the coming weeks and months we plan to expand into more areas on the Eastside, as well as Downtown Seattle, Fremont, and Ballard. We already have more than 150 great restaurants on the site including Cactus, Monsoon, and HomeGrown and we’re adding more every day.
The Seattle area marks DoorDash’s 17th major market and we’re proud to add the Emerald City to our growing national footprint. On the heels of partnerships with national brands like Taco Bell and 7-Eleven the momentum here is only accelerating. Through October the delivery fee is just $1.00 per order, with no order minimums or extra fees. To get started, check out DoorDash on your Android or iOS device, or on the web at www.doordash.com.
And the next time you’re hanging out at Marymoor Park or get to the top of the Space Needle, keep an eye out for some red and grey shirts running around the city – it just may be one of our Dashers bringing your lunch to your door.
