When DoorDash was launched just two years ago, we always knew we wanted to create a delivery network that expanded worldwide. Today we’re taking the first steps toward achieving that mission by continuing to expand within the US by adding Indianapolis and launching our first non-US city with Toronto, Canada.
In Toronto we’ll be delivering from more than 120 restaurants across the downtown area, including Liberty Village, King/Queen West, Financial District, The Annex & Little Italy. Many local favorites including Insomnia Restaurant, Loaded Pierogi, Signs Restaurant and Barque are already on the site, and we’re adding more every day.
In Indianapolis we’ll be launching in Broad Ripple, Carmel and Fishers, with plans to quickly expand to Downtown / Mass Ave, Fountain Square, Zionsville and Eagle Creek. More than 100 restaurants are already available including Pint Room, Taste Cafe, J Gumbo and Mellow Mushroom.
Toronto and Indianapolis mark markets number twenty and twenty-one for DoorDash, and we’re excited to be coming to these two major regions. With winter on the way, a hip restaurant scene, and a burgeoning tech presence, both Toronto and Indianapolis are perfect cities for us to set up shop in.
Today we also announced a partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts, bringing on-demand delivery from Dunkin’s stores in Dallas followed by Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Through the end of the year, the delivery fee in Toronto and Indianapolis is just $1 so there’s no better time to get started. Visit www.doordash.com and see for yourself why DoorDash is different.
